Women, Infants and Children Program (WIC)
WIC is a supplemental food and nutrition education program for Women, Infants and Children. WIC helps because it provides:
- Healthy foods
- Nutrition education to help families eat better and save money on food
- Breastfeeding information and support
Who is eligible for WIC?
To be eligible for WIC, you must be:
- A pregnant woman
- A breastfeeding woman
- A woman who just had a baby or
- An infant or child under 5 years old
Income Eligibility Criteria - Effective April 30, 2012
Total Household Income (before taxes and deductions) must be equal to or below the following amounts:

Applicants might be income-eligible for WIC if they or other persons in their households are currently receiving Medicaid, Food Stamps or temporary cash assistance (TCA).
