Infectious and 
Communicable Diseases

Infectious and Communicable Disease Services provides timely information about health problems such as tuberculosis and sexually transmitted diseases. This division implements prevention strategies and conducts research. Education, counseling and testing for STDs are provided and immunization for people traveling overseas and for refugees.

The Infectious and Communicable Diseases Division provides physician staffing and/or consultation for the following services:

Sexually Transmitted Diseases

Provides education, counseling, testing and treatment for people with or exposed to a sexually transmitted disease

HIV/AIDS Specialty Care

Provides clinical trials, on-site lab and x-ray exams, mental health and substance abuse counseling for patients, referrals for case management, dental care and pharmacy services.

Tuberculosis Control

Provides treatment, counseling, education and screening services.

Provides screens for persons traveling overseas for communicable diseases.
