Office of Emergency Preparedness and Response

The Duval County Health Department's Emergency Preparedness Office is actively involved in planning and responding to the public health needs of the community in times of emergency or disaster. Priorities of the DCHD are to assure that delivery of essential medical and public health services are maintained or restored following a disaster and that assistance is provided to meet emergency needs of the affected population.

Duval Emergency Preparedness Mission:

To continually train and prepare our internal and external stakeholders to provide and effective response to all emergencies or disasters.
